Garlic breath: a good thing?
Lots of people focus on the bad side of garlic breath (see video below) but the reality is that anyone eating garlic for the health benefits should actually embrace it instead.
Garlic breath comes from the active sulfur-containing compounds in garlic working their magic in your bloodstream and body and not so much from food bits in your teeth and mouth.
Garlic breath may be socially awkward at times but from a medical perspective its actually a good sign and indicative of the fact that the beneficial compounds in garlic have successfully made their way into your body.

Garlic and blood pressure
Did you know that garlic has proven effective in studies in lowering mild to moderate high blood pressure?
The exact mechanism still isn't understood but it appears that the dozens of organosulfur compounds that garlic produces may interact with the human body in different ways, with positive benefits including cardiovascular health improvements.
